These scholarships benefit exceptional students attending a Global Experiences internship program in any of our global cities on a semester or summer program. The ideal candidate will make a positive impact on their program, demonstrate financial need, and act as an outstanding representative of their home country and university.
Global Experiences is a committed partner in the IIE Generation Study Abroad initiative and has pledged $25,000 in scholarship funds to engage a more culturally aware workforce. These scholarships are for both summer and semester terms in any of our global cities. These scholarships are for on-location programs only and do not apply to our virtual international internship programs.
Global Experiences is celebrating this milestone anniversary by extending 20 scholarships to engaged and driven participants. These scholarships are for semester programs and summer 2022, and in-person and virtual programs.
There are grants and scholarships for internships abroad. Research thoroughly to find a scholarship that meets your needs, and before applying for a scholarship or grant make sure you meet all of the eligibility requirements. Grant Opportunities
AIFS Abroad and Global Experiences are committed to Access, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity. As part of this, we have converted several scholarships into automatically awarded grants to eligible students as part of the application process; students do not need to complete a separate scholarship application. As an applicant to one of our programs, you will know before you apply which grants you are eligible/may be eligible to receive. Grants include the following:
Students may receive multiple grants they are eligible for, up to a maximum of $2,500 for a semester study abroad program or $1,500 for a summer, J-term, or internship program. Grants connected with receipt of other awards and scholarships, like Pell Grant, Gilman Award, Boren Award, FEA Scholarship, and GI Bill funding will have a submission area to upload supporting documentation of these.
