One Month Jewelry Design Course!(April 30 & May 28, 2007)
 Global Experiences is pleased to offer a unique, one month Jewelry Design course in collaboration with Studio Arrais in downtown Florence. This program is open to those with experience in the field as well as to those who are just getting started in the world of jewelry design. Program participants will work side by side with the course creator and a small group of other students while covering a range of subjects including:
- Drawing Scale
- Perspective
- Central and Lateral Projections
- Shading
- Study and Rendering of Stones
For those who would like to learn more about Computer Aided Design (CAD), we can arrange this as long as you have access to the Rhinoceros and Flamingo software applications and can provide your own laptop.
OPTION 1: Italian Language Training + Jewelry Design + Internship
(9 or 12 weeks)
Add the course to your Language + Internship program to make the most of your experience in Florence. During the first 4 weeks of your program, you will participate in your daily Italian language classes as well as in the jewelry design course 2 days per week. You will then go on to do an internship in jewelry design in Florence. (We will also accept applications for the jewelry design course from those who would like to intern in a different field).

OPTION 2: Italian Language Training + Jewelry Design
(4 weeks)
Don't have the whole summer to travel abroad, but still want to do more with your time away? Enroll in our 4 week Italian Language Training program and add the jewelry design course to make the most of your learning experience.
